Time In HVAC: I have no experience other than what I've learned from these courses and I'm not finished yet, but a friends boss in the industry has heard about my scores and says he'd be willing to train me as soon as I am done.
Reasons for the Course: I was a painter for over 25 years but I was getting older and wanted something that wasn't as seasonal and subject to the start of new housing and the economy. I wanted something that was challenging, new and mostly stable with a good starting salary.
Career Objectives: I hope to get the Core certification and a specialty like gas heaters or air conditioning who knows I may go for both.
Personal Statement: When I started out I had little or no choice but to do the school work and only that. Vocational Rehab and Restart qualified me and pay for most of my expenses to be a full time student. Kind of like a full scholarship. No money, riding the bus etc. I'm a starving student and love it.
I can already tell that these courses are going to be a great help in getting into the field.
Hard yes, but thorough, and comprehensive. I feel I can use this schooling to reach my full potential.
